Not far from where I live, in Flat Rock, Michigan, horses run wild. The Flat Rock Assembly Plant is easily visible from I-75; a\u00a0banner draped over the side of one of the buildings reads “we love taking our work home with us<\/em>.”<\/p>\n Flat Rock is a quiet community about a half hour south of Detroit. There isn’t much to downtown, aside from the usual Post Office, hardware store, and local law offices.<\/p>\n When the Mustang makes so much of an impact on the world stage, it’s sometimes hard to imagine a one horse town like Flat Rock produces the car dubbed as “The Faster Horse<\/a>” in Hollywood.<\/p>\n People grow up dreaming about and ultimately cherishing the Mustang. I did. And the span of the vehicle is so dynamic, from the original 1964 1\/2 at the World’s Fair, to the muscular Mach 1, and the sensational Shelby GT 500.<\/p>\n Art of the Mustang\u00a0<\/em>details this like never before.<\/p>\n With the exception of a classic car show, it’s not likely we will ever find this many Mustangs in one place. It’s easy to get lost in the pages and find yourself either wanting a Mustang or falling even more in love with the one you have.<\/p>\n For me, it brought up fond memories of once living in Flat Rock, not far from the Mustang plant. That’s the thing about that iconic horse . . . it runs through your mind just as much as it runs on a racetrack or straightaway.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.automoblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/1-1-150x150.jpg\")
